Week Between School and ESY

Theo had a week break between Second Grade and ESY. We had a nurse, Milto or Jess, with him during the day, so Josh and I could work. It was so helpful!

I got a desk, so I can walk on the treadmill while I am working. I don't walk very fast, but it's better than sitting all day!

I saw on Facebook that the next town over is putting in an "all inclusive" park. I sent them a message asking if the park would include a bathroom with a powered, height adjustable, adult changing table. They said they are considering it... so, yay? Don't worry, I'll following up with them!

Along those same lines, check out this awesome changing table! It doesn't need power to work, but it's still height adjustable.

We had two ambulance bills to pay from last year. One was $1609 and the other was $1710. I went back and forth with insurance and they finally decided to pay part of them. I then paid $755 to cover some more of the bill. After I paid, I learned that Cigna paid the rest of the bill! That's great, right?! So I should get a refund since Cigna paid in full. I've called the Ambulance company many times and they keep telling me that they never were paid by Cigna OR they said that Cigna paid and then asked for the money back. Makes no sense! So I reached out to Michelle who is our "Personal Champion" at Cigna. I finally got her and the Ambulance company on the phone at the same time. She said that Cigna paid the bills in full and I need a refund. They kept telling us that Cigna asked for the money back and we need to contact the Cigna claims department and Michelle said "I AM THE CLAIMS DEPARTMENT!" Ugh. This is insane. The Ambulance company has been over paid and I just want a refund. It's going to be a long battle.

Theo had his final PT session with Ms Cody. She is moving away and we are going to miss her so much! Their first session together was June 2018!

[First session - Becca, Theo, and Cody]

[Last session - Cody and Theo]

I cried when she left. Thanks for all your love and patience! Theo is in a better place because of you!

Theo went to the Brookfield Zoo this last weekend. He had a great time!

Cody told us about a new Indian restaurant that she just found. Apparently they have been open for about 9 months. She said it's delicious, so we decided to give it a try for date night! And she was correct, everything was delicious!

Go check out Shree Indian Cuisine!

We had a back to back booking at our condo and after the guests checked out I got a message from my cleaning lady saying that the condo smells super bad. Did you know that medicinal marijuana is legal in Florida? And did you know that even if you don't smoke inside the condo it still smells so bad and it sticks to your clothes and everything you own?! So yea, technically they probably didn't smoke IN the condo, but the smell just follows you around and according to the cleaners it was very stinky! So my amazing head cleaning lady went to the condo to help clean and then she left out an Ozone machine.

SOOO long story short: Come stay with us! We'll always make sure the condo smells good for you! AND please don't smoke, just don't smoke. You think you can cover it up, but you can't.

[Ozone machine works like a charm]
