Monday, September 1st:
Theo was off of school today for Labor Day so Nurse Stephanie came to watch him at home. Josh worked on his Jeep while I worked in the basement.
That afternoon we went to the Hope Helps All Inclusive Playground in Coal City. The powered, height adjustable, adult-sized changing table is still not fixed, so we couldn't stay long. But Theo still enjoyed his time on the swings!
Tuesday, September 2nd:
Theo and Nurse Stephanie headed off to school while I went to the clinic to get my bloodwork done for my yearly check up.
After school I took Theo to The Legacy Ranch to see Sherman and Ms. Kaylin. Theo did great! They have a show coming up on September 13th and Theo is going to ride with Ms. Kaylin. I'm sure he will do great!
Wednesday, September 3rd:
This morning I woke up to the best news! Northern Integrity LLC has been paid! I think that makes us a legit company!
Theo had a great day at school and he used his eye gaze to tell his teacher that he wants a pet dragon. Um... I don't think he knows that we just don't do pets around here 😬
Josh continues to work hard and he is still overseeing a big project up by the O'hare airport. Things are going well and I hope we can keep working until Thanksgiving.
Thursday, September 4th:
After I sent Theo and Nurse Stephanie off to school I headed back to the clinic to get my mammogram. The nurse that did my mammogram was really nice and super helpful. She told me to let her know if I was hurting or uncomfortable. She was able to get the four pictures and it didn't hurt at all. I'm all about preventative medicine so please go get your exams done!
Friday, September 5th:
My dad has been at our condo in Orlando for the last few days. We got a new microwave, stove, and fridge! Come and stay with us!
That night the Chargers had their season opener vs the Chefs (yes, I call them the Chefs) in Brazil and we won! WOOT! What a great way to start the season!
You know that last year the Eagles won their season opener in Brazil and they went on to win the Super Bowl... so... Go Bolts!
[Silly boys!]
On Sunday, Ms Jess stopped by to show us her new friend, Dewey! He's soooo cute! We went on a walk to the local park with Theo and Dewey.
Dewey got tired and had to be carried a lot. He's still a baby!
Two years ago my brothers came to visit me and it took them three days to build the Lego Millennium Falcon. Now Lego is coming out with a 9023 piece Death Star! The Millennium Falcon was 7541 pieces and is HUGE! I can't even imagine how big and awesome the Death Star will be!
Speaking of Star Wars...
