This week started with the Martin Luther King Jr. holiday!
On Monday, January 18th, I also had a Zoom lecture on CVI. It is so interesting to learn more about visual impairments and how I can modify the way I interact with Theo.
"How big is Theo? SO BIG!"
[Theo LOVES all his Beatbos]
On Tuesday, January 19th, Theo went back to school for "hybrid" learning. They will be in-person on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Fridays, and e-learning on Wednesdays.
On Wednesday, January 20th, we witnessed the peaceful transfer of power. It shouldn't matter which side of the aisle you are on, this was a historic moment.
And now for the Bernie memes 😂🤣:
Also, on Wednesday, Philip Rivers announced his retirement. And then his memory popped up in my Facebook:
11 years ago we were at a Chargers game watch Philip Rivers! Crazy!
On Thursday, January 21st, I had a Zoom with Theo's principal and the school nurse. We talked about how well Theo is doing and how happy they are to have him at their school.
On Friday, January 22nd, Ms Becca came over for PT. She rolled Theo over his right ear FIVE times without him crying or complaining! We are making some progress here!
Josh is back to work. It was so nice to have him home over Christmas for a few weeks, but we gotta pay those bills! AND pay for our trip to the Baltic in 2022!
[Josh doesn't do any of the work, he just inspects those who do]
And yes! We have booked a cruise for October 2022! We will first head to Belgium for a few days, and then head up to Amsterdam for a few days, before getting on the cruise ship for 13 days. Ports include: Copenhagen (Denmark), Berlin (Germany), Tallinn (Estonia), St Petersburg (Russia), Helsinki (Finland), Stockholm (Sweden), and Hamburg (Germany). My parents will be joining us and we are so excited! Only 615 days until departure! Wanna join us?!
Speaking of Josh, he is sad because the Packers lost today.
Bummer. Better luck next year! And here's Bernie doing the "Lambeau Leap!"
Really? KC vs Tom Brady? UGH. What a dumb Super Bowl.
