THEO'S SPRING BREAK:
I cancelled all of Theo's therapy appointments, so we could focus on doing extra respiratory therapy with Theo. He was very tired for most of the week. He took two naps a day and just wanted to lay on the floor, listen to music, and play with dada.
"The Vest" is very loud, so Theo will move his Tonie box closer to his ear so he can hear it. Smart kid! And he LOVES Jungle Book!
Since our Ghostbusters date night got cancelled I decided to go see Frozen Empire by myself on Wednesday. There were a few scary moments, but overall it was a classic Ghostbusters comedy and I loved it!
[Who you gonna call?!]
Mama dove finally got off her eggs so we could see them. But a few days later her and papa bird flew away. I'm guessing the eggs aren't viable. Bummer. Hopefully they'll have more luck next year!
Our contractor came back for one last visit. They installed a transition strip in Theo's bedroom entryway,
put the blinds back up,
installed a slanted face board under the handicap sink to cover the exposed pipes,
and they patched up a few holes that were put in the wall by the plumbers.
As of right now the bathroom is 99% done! We are just waiting for the glass panels to be installed!
I attended a book club lecture about Teddy Roosevelt. He is a very interesting man!
On Friday (March 29th) the village inspector stopped by. He said everything looks great! The final plumbing inspector will be by next week to hopefully give us the final stamp of approval.
[I don't get it 🤷♀️]
This kid is such a goober!
I took a bunch of "final" pictures of the bathroom. The shower glass panels aren't in yet, but they are acid etched so you can't see through them. I figured I should get some pictures of entire bathroom before those obstructive panels are installed.

Demolition started on January 8th and the bathroom will be officially finished *knock on wood* on April 3rd (we have been able to use it for a few weeks now). Three months is a long time to be under construction, but we are so happy with how everything turned out! Zack, our point guy at Greg & Sons, was a pleasure to work with. He communicated with us every step of the way and all the crews were very respectful and talented. If you are looking for work to be done in the Southwest Chicago Suburb area, I can't recommend these guys enough:

Electric: Fail Safe Electric Company, Inc

Shower Glass: All Glass
And Josh caught Theo's cold and cough. I didn't want to give Theo another COVID test since he's had SOOOO many, so I had Josh take one. It's negative! Hopefully this virus leaves our home soon and no one else gets sick!
