The next day, December 9th, we had another day date with Luke and Andie. This time we went to EPCOT!
I set my alarm for 6:55 AM, so I could get in the virtual queue for Remy's Ratatouille Adventure. Even though I clicked the button right when it turned 7:00 AM, I still got Group 87. Luke got Group 16, but we wouldn't be able to go with them that early, so we decided we would all wait and go with our later group time.
[Theo likes to explore!]
I bought Kenna, Porter, and Theo Mickey balloons while we were at Disney Springs the night before. Sadly, Kenna's balloon got hit by the ceiling fan and only lasted a few days. The other ones lasted for the rest of the trip! Totally worth it!
Before we left for EPCOT Luke was limping a bit. He said he was fine, but when we got to the EPCOT parking lot he was clearly in pain. So we got him a wheelchair! He was still able to walk a bit, so we would just park it with the strollers at the rides. Andie was a trooper and pushed him for most of the day!
Our first stop was Test Track, which was a ton of fun! You get to design a car and then test it on the track. The ride goes 65 mph and is exactly like the Radiator Springs ride at CA Adventure.
We then hit Soarin' (another favorite) and went to get fish n chips in England!
Everyone inside the phone booth!
We then went to Mexico and made our way through the countries (stopping to snack along the way).
[Mexico]
[Norway]
[China]
[Germany]
[Italy]
[Japan]
[Morocco]
We got crepes while in France and they were delicious! The sun was going down as we made our way out of France, which made for the perfect picture taking scenery!
We made our way through England and into Canada. Andie was able to score us some amazing pretzel bread from the Canada restaurant!
Around 7:00 PM it was FINALLY our groups turn to ride Remy's!
The ride was super cute and I love the new technology with the magnetic tracks. It makes the rides so much smoother!
On our way out we rode Spaceship Earth.
It was another successful day date! Thanks mom and dad for watching the kids again! And thanks to Luke and Andie for hanging out with us!
