After two years of planning, our epic trip is finally here!
Star Wars Rise of the Siblings: A Galactic Journey to Japan
Day 0: Monday, April 7th
Flying in and out of the midwest during the spring is not the easiest thing. The weather can be quite unpredictable and temperamental. I could not risk missing our flight to Hong Kong out of LAX, so I decided to give myself a full day layover in LA.
It was snowing as I was boarding my flight, so I felt good about my decision to fly out early. I landed at LAX at 8:30 PM, grabbed my bag, and headed to my hotel. I picked this particular hotel because it was right across the street from In-n-Out!
It's good to be home 😊
Day 1: Tuesday, April 8th
I decided to hit some of the California hot spots before I needed to head back to the airport to meet up with Luke.

After lunch I went to Manhattan Beach to walk around and get some gelato. It was very gloomy, but that didn't bother me!

After walking through the CA sand, I headed back to the hotel, packed my bags, and caught an Uber to LAX.
