Day 3: Thursday, April 10th
Luke and I landed in Hong Kong at 5:40 AM, but we were delayed getting off of the flight because the local police had to board the flight to remove an unruly passenger 😬
We made our way through customs and immigration, got our luggage, and then found our driver.
Hong Kong is made up of a lot of islands and areas. We spent all of our time on Lantau Island, Hong Kong Island, and in the Kowloon area. The airport and the Disneyland Resort are both located on Lantau Island, so it was only a 15 minute drive from the airport to the Disney Explorers Lodge.
We arrived at the hotel VERY early, so we had a few hours to kill before our 9:00 AM tour.

The entire hotel has an "explorers" theme and it is so cute!
We wandered around the grounds and when the front desk opened we checked into our room.

The hotel is HUGE and is right on the water!
We had a standard double room, which I expected to be pretty small, but it was very nice and spacious! There was a nice bathroom and our beds were very comfortable!
