Rise of the Siblings - Part XX: Star Wars Celebration - Day 2

Day 12: Saturday, April 19th

Day Two of Star Wars Celebration got off to a slower start for me. I decided to sleep in and then went to 7-11 to get some snacks for all of us. The food line at SWC was hours long, so eating an egg sandwich was great with me!

[Such a good sandwich!]

[New movie announcement!]

["ONE WAY OUT!"]

[I swear this guy WAS Ryan Reynolds!]

Luke and I were lucky enough to get lottery tickets to the Ahsoka panel!

[The Chosen One!]

[Hayden Christensen (Anakin Skywalker/Darth Vader, Rosario Dawson (Ahsoka), Jon Favreau, and Dave Filoni]

We are so excited for Season 2!

Later that afternoon Luke and I went to meet Nubbs from The Young Jedi Adventures cartoon!

[So stinking cute!]

As we were leaving Nubbs I ran into The Super Carlin Brothers! I've been watching their YouTube videos for over 10 years. They do a lot of Harry Potter theories and breakdowns. And Theo LOVES their videos because they get really excited and Theo thinks it's hilarious! I told them I was surprised to see them there and they said they were keeping the trip a secret. They were REALLY sweet and we got a picture together!

It was another successful day at Star Wars Celebration! I can't believe it's going to be over tomorrow!

For dinner we went to a popular pizza place: Savoy. We got put at the bar where we could watch the pizza being made. The chef would pour a lot of oil on the pizzas and they would only be in the pizza oven for 60 seconds. It was wild to watch!

[Margherita - Mozzarella and Basilico]

[Pizza O - Mozzarella and Ozaki Beef]

[The Special - Sakurashrimp, Oregano, Asparagus, Garlic, and Tomatosauce]

We shared all three pizzas and they were all delicious! After dinner we walked over to a used bookstore that Ryan found.

We finished the night at the Honey Toast Cafe in Akihabara. It's exactly what it sounds like. They take a loaf of bread, cut the inside into little cubes, toast everything, and put the cubes back in the loaf. We shared a classic honey toast and one with bananas and ice cream.

They were both buttery, crunchy, full of honey, and tasty!
