Decorating the Minooka House

Over a week we slowly moved things from our place in Sheridan to Minooka. It was nice and made the move so much easier to do it in pieces. We even had the furniture from Darvin delivered and set up for us, so all we had to do was get our things from Lucas' house and the stuff that was in my parents basement.

On August 31st we packed up our things (there wasn't much) and headed from Lucas' house in Sheridan to our new place in Minooka. The move was VERY easy and quick, since we don't have any furniture! I know the next move won't be so easy.

[Packing]

[Josh borrowed his boss' truck and trailer for the move. We pretty much just needed it for our mattress and a few other boxes.]

[Clothes and my moving buddy]

[I kept seeing the Death Star in my rearview mirror. It was funny... and scary!]

[Josh got me this awesome house key!]

Over the next couple of weeks we settled into the house and made it our home.

I didn't know which welcome mat to get so I asked Facebook and Instagram.

Here are the results:

Some of my friends suggested I should get them all and just rotate. I think that's a brilliant idea!

We tried to finish Theo's Star Wars room at Lucas' house, but we were still missing a few things. But we finished it here!
