Theo's 25th Month and September

I've been doing monthly updates on Theo since he was born, but I think I'm going to switch it up a bit. I need to get caught up first, so here's an update!

Since Theo's second birthday A LOT has happened:

- We finished our Downers Grove Party House Week (check out my previous post)

- Theo started Toddler School (August 12)

Theo's Developmental Therapist invited Theo to join her Toddler School. It takes place every Monday and Wednesday from 9-11 AM. The class consists of Special Needs kids that are two years old. It's a great way to get Theo to interact with other kids (he usually only sees adults) and it will prepare him for full-time school when he turns three!

-Brodee started 3rd Grade in Fort Stockton, Texas

- Theo had his last sessions with Glady (OT), Kelly (DT), Diane (Feeding/Speech) and Sara (DTV)

Since we moved we had to get new therapist (except for PT and Nutrition). We are going to miss Glady, Kelly, Diane, and Sara so much!

- Peds ENT (August 15)

Theo still won't completely roll to the right. He will roll up onto his right side, but he refuses to put his ear to the ground. No one can figure out why. Since the ABR showed that he has fluid behind his right ear drum, we decided to get tubes put in. Hopefully that relieve some pressure and it's the reason why Theo won't roll to the right. We had a great visit with the ENT and he will preforming a myringotomy with Tympansotomy Tube Insertion on both of Theo's ears on October 30th.

- Cason was born on August 23rd! I have a new nephew! He lives in Detroit with his mom. Isn't he too cute?!

I sent him (and his mom) a care package. There's no way my nephew is going to go through life without some Harry Potter and Star Wars clothes!

- We moved from Lucas' house in Sheridan to a house in Minooka (August 23rd)

- GI and Neurology (Sept 4)

Theo, Josh, and I went to Peoria to see Theo's Neurologist and GI Specialist. We talked with his Neurologist extensively about Theo's terrible sleep schedule and he recommended using melatonin to help him sleep through the night.

We then talked to the GI Specialist about Theo's intestinal issues. She is having us give him gas drops and probiotics to see if that helps.

- Eye Dr (Sept 6)

We went back down to Peoria a few days later to see Dr Steve, Theo's Ophthalmologist. He is very happy that Theo's left eye continues to "pull in" and his vision is getting better.

- Car show in Minooka (Sept 13)

We went on a family outing to the local golf course to a car show. It was fun to walk around and see all the vintage cars!

- I went on a Girls Trip (Sept 17-23)

- Theo started OT with Laura (Sept 19)

While I was on my Girls Trip, Theo met with his new OT, Laura. She is so nice and is great with Theo.

- NordicTrack (Sept 21)

YES! We bought a NordicTrack! It's awesome!

[We had a crazy rain storm come through and water started leaking in through the vent in our kitchen. It rains here a lot and this is the only time this has happened. We think it's due to the 50 mph winds and the rain!]
