Last Week of In-Person School, Labs for Theo, and Christmas Family Photos

This pandemic is not going away anytime soon and numbers in IL (and all around the country) are going in the wrong direction. So, our Governor has decided to take us back to "Tier 3." Our local school district also decided that this would be a good time to move all students to remote learning. They are hoping to start back up in person in January, but I honestly can't see us going back until the spring time. It's okay though, gotta be safe!

Since it was the last week that Theo would be seeing his teachers, aids, and therapist in person before the new year, we decided it would be a good idea to get their Christmas presents to them early. I ran to Target and got 11 bags, 22 Reese's Christmas Trees, 22 Ghirardelli chocolates, 11 Lindt chocolates, 11 chocolate covered pretzels, and 11 gift cards to Target. Who doesn't like chocolate and Target?! And yes, Theo has 11 teachers, therapist, and aid just at school! This doesn't even include his private therapist!

At 5:00 PM on November 20th, Illinois went back to "Tier 3."

[Let's be smart]

Wear a mask please! AND go watch The Mandalorian if you haven't yet! This is the way!

Our next Willrow Hood?! I wonder how many people will cosplay this guy at the next Star Wars Celebration.

On Saturday, November 21st, Josh, Theo, and I headed to the OSF St Elizabeth in Ottawa so Theo could get his labs and EKG in preparation for his surgery on Friday.

Theo was very brave during his blood draw, but was VERY upset with the tech started putting the stickers on him for the EKG.

He made it through and we will go back on Tuesday for Theo's COVID test.

On Sunday, November 22nd, we decided to try and get some cute Christmas family photos! I don't know if Theo will be up for photos after his surgery, so we decided to try to get them done before. Theo made things a little difficult, but that's okay.

I think we managed to get a few good ones:
