Weekend in San Diego

January 15, 2010
I left Cedar City and headed down to Vegas to spend the night with Katey and Paul, my newlywed friends. We spent the night shopping (I had to get a shirt for the Chargers game on Sunday) and looking at pictures from their honeymoon trip to Cancun.

I woke up to Paul making whole grain pancakes. They were delicious!

After stuffing our faces with great breakfast foods, Katey took me to the airport so I could fly to San Diego.

My parents picked me up at the airport and we headed over to the hotel to meet up with Ryan and Missy.

That night we took a stroll around the Gaslamp District. The streets were filled with crazy football fans! We came across a ton of Jets fans... boy, were they annoying.

We got up early and went down to the marina for some breakfast.

After eating we took a stroll around the marina and up to the Convention Center.

After some sight-seeing, we decided to head to the game via the train.

We got to Qualcomm Stadium early and met up with a few of my dads co-workers that were tailgating.

We met up with Luke in the stadium and then located our seats. I didn't realized until we got there how awesome our seats were!

Game on!

The game was exciting and frustrating... once we started loosing and my brothers got sad (or bored)

We started hoping for a rally...

but it never came...

Sadly, we lost to the NY Jets.

We took in the disappointment on the train ride back to the hotel.

Until next year!

Thanks for the tickets Dad!

I love San Diego, it looks beautiful. Even though they lost, family time is priceless. I miss you guys!
