General Surgeon, MPC Walk In, ENT, and GI Specialist

This week was our final *knock on wood* E-learning week! It was full of Zooms and doctors appointments, but we were able to squeeze everything in!

On Monday, January 11th, we saw Ms Becca with PT. I love having her come to our home, so she can show us all the cool things we can do with Theo here at home.

Homework from OT was to "play with snow" in the house. She suggested adding food coloring too. Theo was NOT interested.

On Tuesday, January 12th, Theo and I drove to Ottawa to see the Pediatric General Surgeon (he put in Theo's g-tube two years ago). He was happy to see how much weight Theo is gaining and he ordered a longer Mini-One button size for him.

After seeing the surgeon, we went to Theo's school so he could have a "walk-in" with PT and OT. Theo was showing off all of his new skills and everyone seemed really excited for him!

On Wednesday, January 13th, we all headed back down to Peoria so Theo could see the ENT and the GI Specialist.

[How Theo likes to listen to his music]

The ENT saw a little "liquid discharge" in Theo's right ear, so we will be putting ear drops in his ear for the next two weeks. Then we will come back in a month for another check up.

The GI Specialist was also happy with Theo's progress and she reduced his acid reflux medicine again. YAY! Theo has not thrown up due to feeds since early October (if you don't count post-surgery issues).

On Friday, January 15th, we saw Ms. Becca again. I love how great she is with Theo!

That same day we also saw Ms. Laura for OT. I can't go into the clinic to watch their session, but she sends me a lot of pictures! Theo is working so hard!

On Saturday, January 16th, The Packers were playing in the Playoffs. I told Josh that we should do a charcuterie board and that he should grab some cheese on his way home from work. Well, he decided to stop by Costco and got a ton of cheese! I'm not complaining, but that is a lot of cheese!

The Packers won and are heading to the NFC Championship!

On Sunday, January 17th, I had a "long run" with Tommy Rivs. He is still in the hospital fighting lung cancer, so I am continuing to run for him! And I'm three weeks into my 1/2 Marathon training series!

[This is so true]

[Yep! My life is not that different]

Are you guys reading the new Star Wars books from the High Republic?! They are so good!

[I LOVE Taika and I am so glad he is getting his own Star Wars movie!]

And on another note, the Lakers are off to a great start!

Can someone make this into a bumper sticker for me?! 😂😂
