Monday, January 27th:
Theo headed off to school while I worked on training and researching for a couple of my jobs.
After school I took Theo to OT with Ms. Laura.
Theo had eight observable seizures today.
Tuesday, January 28th:
Theo and I went to Ottawa to see Dr. Robertson, Peds Surgeon. We see him once a year so he can check on Theo's g-tube. Theo has been dealing with more granulated tissue and his g-tube area is sometimes a little sore. Dr. Robertson checked out the g-tube area and was happy to see how it looked. He said that the size of the g-tube is good and that the granulated tissue is mild and partially skin covered. Once all the granulated tissue becomes skin covered it will not be a concern. Until then we can continue our current treatments. We will see him in one year.
After Dr. Robertson we went to see Ms. Cody for PT and then we went to see Sherman and his friends. Theo rode with Ms. Kaylin and they played Disney music for him. Theo did great and was very happy!
Wednesday, January 29th:
Theo had an "early out" today, so I only had a few hours to work out and get somethings done for work before he got home.
After school Ms. Jen came over for feeding/speech therapy. Theo did well with his food play, so we will continue to move forward with that!
Ryan, Luke, and I are staying on Tokyo Disney property for five nights during our trip. We'll stay the first night at the Disneyland Hotel, then two nights at MiraCosta, and then the final two nights at the Disneyland Hotel. I REALLY want to stay at the new Fantasy Springs hotel! It looks beautiful and it overlooks the new Fantasy Springs land at Disney Sea. Usually you can go and walk through the hotels at Disneyland or Disney World even if you aren't staying there. But this hotel is to popular, so they aren't allowing people who don't have a room booked to see the hotel. I'm checking daily to see if a room opens up, but I'm not holding my breath! I just want ONE night! 🤞🏻🤞🏻
Theo had four observable seizures today.
Thursday, January 30th:
Theo went to school and I ran a bunch of errands. After school I took Theo to OT with Ms. Laura.
[He's just so cute!]
Friday, January 31st:
Theo went to school today and then we went to see Ms. Cody at PT. Theo has been working so hard on his head control and being "SO BIG" and "SUPER STRONG!" We are so proud of him!
I'm officially a Make-A-Wish volunteer!
Theo had nine observable seizures today.
Weekend:
I thought these were great! 🤣🤣
A crazy deal happened this weekend in the NBA! We traded AD to Dallas and got Luka! 🙌🏻🙌🏻 I love AD and I'll miss him, but I'm excited to see what Luka can do for us!
And it's Groundhog Day... again! Will we have an early spring? No one really knows!
Josh in Alaska:
Josh is still up on the North Slope, but he will be home soon! I feel likes he gets a boost of energy every time he sees the northern lights!
