Theo back to school, Fridge Drama, OB, and GI

Hey! Look! We got some snow!

This week Theo went back to school. He missed it so much and I know everyone there missed him too!

[Some art from December]

[I'm dead! 🤣🤣]

The fridge repairman came out and evaluated our fridge. In just a few seconds he figured out what the issue was. YAY! But it'll cost $700 to fix and parts are backordered THREE months! BOOOO!

We decided to move ahead with the repair since the repairman said our fridge should last another 5-8 years once it's fixed.

Here is our fridge's home for the next three months. Doesn't it look good next to our tapestry from Peru?

Our light/fan in the master bedroom has been acting up, so Josh bought and installed a new one.

[Old fan/light]

The new light puts off a TON of light and is so much better then the old one! Thanks Josh!

Josh also replaced the lights in our bathroom.

On Wednesday, January 5th, I headed to Ottawa for a 6 month appointment with my OB. They did a pap after my LEEP to make sure all the bad cells were gone, but they were still there. So, the surgery was not successful. Bummer. Once we get the results from this pap (I'm sure they are the same), the OB will call and we can come up with a plan.

[Food play]

It was COLD at the end of the week, so we made sure Theo and I were all bundled up while we were getting him on the bus.

[-20 windchil is real]

I got these ADORABLE hangers for my Minnie Ears and I asked Josh to put them up for me.

Don't they look great?!

 I love them!

Josh also hung up two more lightsabers in Theo's room. The ones that were already there are in the red ovals and the new ones will go in the yellow ovals.

On Friday, January 7th, Josh, Theo, and I headed to Peoria to meet with Theo's GI Specialist. Theo is currently 44 lb 8.5 oz and 3' 7.5" tall. This puts him in the 89th percentile for weight and height. Theo lost a little weight and his GI Specialist is very happy with how he looks and how he's doing. She now want's him to plateau and not gain or lose weight. We will keep her updated on his weight and we'll see her again in about 7 months!

After we got back from Peoria I went north to get my allergy shots. I then swung by See's and got some delicious chocolates. I got some milk chocolate peanuts, milk chocolate Bordeaux (my favorite), Cafe hazelnut truffles, milk chocolate buttercream, milk chocolate mocha, and mint truffles (for Josh). They were all delicious!

Two new Star Wars books came out and I read them each in one day! Thanks Josh for holding down the fort so I could read!

We got a new fridge! Well, right now it's a fridge, but it can also turn into a freezer. Pretty cool huh?

On the left is our freezer. It's nice because it's not at all connected to our fridge. So, if one craps out it doesn't affect the other one. Kinda handy!

Kayleen got these "Good Poop Crew" shirts made for Josh and Theo. They wear them with pride!

I laughed way too hard at this!
