On the Move Again: Indiana to Illinois

While we were on our Honeymoon Josh got a job offer! We were not even going to think about work until after we got home but it was nice to come home to an offer.

We decided that as far as Josh's career goes, it would be a good idea to take this job. This is the same job that he was on last year and we hope that by continuing with this client that maybe someday he can be hired full time.

We packed up the Raptor, canceled our membership at the YMCA, canceled our PO Box, told our landlord we were moving, found a place to live in Illinois, and off we went!

[Packing up the interior - we took everything off the walls and put them on the couch and packed away the breakable dishes in the red suitcases]

[Josh had a hard time getting the ball hitch unstuck. Stupid rust!]

[Unplugging the water]

[Here we go!]

Josh drove the truck while I followed in the Jeep. We arrived at the RV Campground two hours later and parked the Raptor without any problems. Josh worked on getting the outside set up (water, sewer, electricity, and skirting) while I got everything inside set up.

I called DIRECTV, the propane company, and the internet people and scheduled times to come and hook us up.

One of the funnest things about moving is exploring your new city. I used Trip Advisor and found a pizza place for dinner.

It was delicious! YUM!
