Studying, Working, and Preparing

The week leading up to Halloween weekend was a busy one. Josh was studying A LOT and getting ready to head down to Georgia for his CWI class. I was getting ready for my parents to come and visit. And Theo was staying busying with school and therapy.

Traveling with a child that relies heavily on their wheelchair is very hard. I've heard horror stories about wheelchairs getting damaged or lost. I've been researching on all of the Special Needs FB groups and I thought that getting a bag for the wheelchair would help solve a lot of these problems. At least that way if a wheel pops off the wheel will still be in the bag with the rest of the wheelchair. AND THEN I saw a story about a child that had the same wheelchair and wheelchair bag as Theo (see picture below) and it was mistaken for golf clubs and was sent to baggage claim instead of going to the jet bridge to be reunited with the owner. UGH! So, I talked to Theo's PT and we decided it would be a good idea to buy a bunch of patches and then she would sew them onto the bag.

Hopefully this will help people more easily identify what is in the wheelchair bag. Wish us luck!

James Michael Tyler (aka Gunther from FRIENDS) passed away on Sunday, October 24th. My friend posted this and it made me tear up. He was such a great member of the FRIENDS cast!

Theo got his school pictures back! I just love them!

Josh has been putting in some long hours at work this week.

I've been trying to stay away from sweets, BUT Crumbl had a chocolate mud cookie and I couldn't resist!

My external hard drive has been acting up, so I bought a new one. I have over 51,000 photos on my hard drive. They are all organized and labeled. I would be devastated if anything happened to them. Don't worry, I have a second external hard drive that has everything on it and is stored safely in my fire box.

Theo has been working so hard at school and everyone is excited that he is waving and clapping on cue.

I love our red tree!

Theo was in a horrible mood, so I gave him Beat-Bo, but that didn't cheer him up.

I then put him in his bed for some "quiet time," but that didn't work either. You know what finally did the trick? Peekaboo Barn!

[Hope you all got your Christmas shopping done already!]
