...and appear stupid than to open it and remove all doubt."

I went to Cafe Rio a few days after work and here's what happened:
Cafe Rio lady worker: "Hi, welcome to Cafe Rio! What can I get you?!"
Me: "Um... can I have two fish tacos with a side of guac, please?"
CRLW: "A what taco?"
Me: "A fish taco..."
CRLW: "Um... we don't have fish... we do have salmon though! Would you like that?"
Me: "Salmon is a fish..."
*Really?*
This reminded me of another fish/Utah experience...
My family and I went to a Joe's Crab Shack in Salt Lake City a few years ago and this is how it all went down:
Hostess: "Here's your table. Do you have any questions?"
My dad: "Yea, what's your speciality?"
Blank look from hostess
My dad: "Do you have something that everyone really likes?"
Hostess: "YES! We are famous for our BBQ crab! Its delicious!"
My dad: "Oh okay. That sounds good What kind of crab is it? Alaskan crab? East coast crab? Local crab?"
My brother and I snicker
Hostess: "Um... well... I think it's local crab. Um... no wait, yes, yes it is, IT IS local crab!"
My dad: "Oh great! That's what I thought! We'll have some of that!"
**What did I learn from these experiences? (1) Utah people don't know squat about seafood and (2) Joe's Crab Shack really does have good BBQ crab**

That is so funny, I love it! Amazing.
Love the new look on the blog! and that is why you don't do seafood in Utah, or anywhere but the coast pretty much!
You made my day. I laughed and laughed. Thanks so much!!!
